Ladakh’s world renowned monasteries are a result of the Buddhist regime and its culture, tradition,and religion. The largest of them in Hemis Monastery (built in 1672 AD by King Singge Namgyal) followed by Matho Monastery (built in 1410 by Lama Dugpa Dorje), and many more.

Shanti Stupa
Shanti Stupa is magnificent for its inexplicable architectural skills. The entire white marble dome structure is located on the top of Chamspa hill and is dedicated to the Buddhist culture. This place attracts a lot of tourists every year for its religious and architectural references.
