Day 1: Arrive Kolkata
Welcome to India. Maximize your time with a flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred by chauffeur drive private vehicle to your hotel. This day is at leisure, so relax at the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kolkata Sightseeing
After breakfast, leave your hotel as today is scheduled for full day Kolkata Sightseeing Tour. Today’s morning half-day tour of Kolkata will take you to the Jain Temple, Zoological Gardens and Victoria Memorial. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely trip along the River Ganges (Lunch on request). Later, return back to your hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 3: Kolkata to Bagdogra to Darjeeling
This morning, you’ll be transferred to the Kolkata Airport for flight to Bagdogra. So, have your breakfast on time. Upon Bagdogra arrival, meet your guide at the airport for two and a half hour private transfer to Darjeeling. Upon Darjeeling arrival, you’ll be transferred to local restaurant for lunch. Afterward, in the afternoon, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park and Tea Garden. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Darjeeling to Pelling
Early morning before dawn at 4:00 am proceed for Tiger Hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise, and then return back to your hotel for breakfast. Afterward, complete check-out formalities and leave to visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Upon Pelling arrival, visit Rimbi waterfall, Kanchendzonga waterfalls followed by a visit to the famous Pemayangtse Monastery. Stop for lunch. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Complete check-in formalities for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 5: Pelling to Gangtok
This morning is at leisure. After breakfast at the hotel, complete check-out formalities and get ready to drive for your next destination, Gangtok. This 132 km on-road journey is of 5 hours approximately. Irreverent, cheerful and pleasantly boisterous, Sikkim’s modern capital is layered along a precipitous mountain ridge, descending the hillside in steep tiers. On your way to Gangtok, stop en-route for lunch. On arrival in Gangtok, check-in at the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 6: Gangtok
Today is scheduled for explore exciting Gangtok and its surrounding areas. Have breakfast at the hotel, and leave to explore this beautiful city. Your morning half-day tour here will introduce you the Government Cottage Industry, Deer Park, Tashiling, Enchey Monastery and the market. Meanwhile, stop at a local eatery for lunch, and then continue back to explore other attraction of this beautiful city, including Tashi Viewpoint for best glimpses of Mt. Khangchendzonga. In the evening, enjoy a walk on the MG Road. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7: Gangtok to Kalimpong
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for our next destination, Kalimpong. Three hours from Gangtok is Kalimpong. Upon arrival, rest for some time, and continue to explore the city in the afternoon. Enjoy a half-day tour, starting at Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery. Visit the Tirpai monastery, then walk through its busy flower nursery and market to see varieties of flowers. From here head to the hotel for a luxurious evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Kalimpong to Bagdogra to Kolkata
After breakfast at your leisure, you will be transferred to the Bagdogra Airport to board your flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival, you’ll be directly transferred to the local eatery for lunch, and then transferred to the hotel. This entire day is at leisure. So, relax and enjoy delicious dinner served at the hotel before going to bed.
Day 9: Kolkata & Departure
This morning, you’ll be transferred to the Kolkata Airport to catch your next flight for onward journey. Come back soon…. Namaste!
