ITINERARY
1st: Golden Temple Duration: 2 Hours
Your historical tour will start after arriving of the world famous Golden temple in Amritsar. This place is one of the holiest place of the country where more than billions of devotees come all around the world. Devotees from all faiths are being welcomed with open heart. Golden temple is the greatest example of spiritual and historical traditions of Sikh in India. There is also a holy pond present inside the temple premise. People believe, this sacred place is blessed and your dream will definitely fulfil if you’ll have a bath here. During this tour, your guide will show you the glimpse of traditions of this holy temple by attending the Guru-ka-Langar, a free community meal. It’s being said that the kitchen of Golden temple is the largest kitchen of the world. This kitchen can feed over 10,000 people at a time without any hesitation and bias. This is the greatest example of equality in human being.
2nd: Jallianwala Bagh Duration: 2 Hours
After visiting the holy temple in Amritsar, your next stop will be Jallianwala Bagh. At 11:00 AM, you will visit the most brutal and heartless historical place of India, situated about a quarter mile from the Golden Temple. This place is a memorial of hundreds of men, women & children who sacrificed their lives & became victims of the ruthless firing. That incident is called Jallianwala Massacre which took place on 13th April 1919. On that day, hundreds of Indians gathered out there and became victims of ruthless firing by British Indian Army under of the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer. That garden was turned into a blood pool on the eve of Baisakhi. You will get to know the history about this place by your guide while enjoying the view of beautiful park.
3rd: Indo Pak Wagah Border Duration: 2 Hours
After having a lunch in Multi cuisine restaurant in Amritsar, your next stop will be Indo-pak Wagah Border. Around 2:00 PM, you will leave for your next destination. En-route, you can stop at Sarhad Restaurant, where you can have photo session to capture the beautiful clicks of India Pakistan Friendship. Wagah border is the final frontier Of Amritsar and is the only border which divides India and Pakistan. Witness the historical place and capture the unforgettable moments of both country people at one place. Your guide will guide you to the gallery from where you can easily spot the people of Pakistan. The most important thing of this place is the retreat ceremony which takes place of the Indian side of the border. Witness the changing of guards and historical moment of lowering the flag in the evening at the border. During this ceremony, you will feel the spirit of the guard inside yourself.
