Chapora Fort
Chapora Fort is an ancient fort that’s standing wisely over the mouth of Chapora River at Vagator Beach. Built by Portuguese in 1617, today only its outer wall remains as ruins. In spite of this, it’s one of the popular attractions of Goa among Indians, and its credit goes to the Bollywood movie, 'Dil Chahta Hai'. In addition to this, the main reason to climb up the fort’s hillock is to experience splendid views of blue water offered by the Arabian Sea. If you’re in Goa, this should be in your not-to-be-missed list.
