City Palace
Displaying a beautiful fusion of royal Rajasthani and mesmeric Mughal in its architectural representation, City Palace sprawls majestically over a lakeside hill giving stunning views of city’s other attractions. Built by MaharanaUdai Singh II in the beginning of 1599, City Palace stands elegantly on the eastern shores of Lake Pichola. One of its sections - ZenanaMahal is now converted into a museum, showcasing some of the finest belongings of Maharanas of Mewar.

Jag mandir Palace
Jag Mandir Palace, once a venue for royal parties and ceremonies, is an extraordinary structure built on an island in the middle of Lake Pichola. It’s lit up at night, and the sight makes for one of Udaipur’s most lasting and beautiful memories. But it is also worth visiting in the day, to take in the life-sized marble elephants and architecture of the Zenana Mahal, the women’s quarters.
